The default marketplace order (“recommended”) currently uses these main parameters:
1. Distance of the branch from the search origin (higher weight), if coordinates exist
2. Total or daily price (lower price improves rank)
3. Average rental-company rating if reviews exist
Users may also sort by price, distance or newest. Availability in the selected period is applied before ranking. Listing quality and cancellation terms are not separate ranking factors in V1. Paid placement is not implemented; if added later it must be clearly labelled.
Necessary storage (sign-in, language, display) is required to run the service. Statistics, marketing and map tiles are only used with your consent, and only if they are actually loaded.
